History

OUR BACKGROUND

MSC Sweden was established in December 1999, to further strengthen MSC's presence in the Scandinavian market.

 

From the beginning all work was handled in the Gothenburg office. The business grew tremendously from day one and in order to handle the expansion, and to add a local presence in big growing markets, sales offices were opened in Stockholm and Helsingborg.

 

With MSC's early investment in its own feeder network in Scandinavia and the Baltic, the ports of Gothenburg and Helsingborg were added to the setup creating an opportunity to grow in both areas. Further expansion has been added during the last year. MSC has started calling two ports on eastern coast of Sweden, Gavle and Norrkoping which have both shown to be a success. 

 

Nine years after entering this very exciting market, MSC has reached a top position and continues to grow. We are especially proud of the feeder calls in Sweden, connecting the Swedish market with the growing network of MSC.
